CDI Portugal is a Diploma Issuing Center of Key Skills in Information Technology, by the FCT - Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia. This Diploma serves as a formal certification of key skills for using a computer, such as e-mailing and browsing the Internet.

Apps for Good Portugal wins the UNESCO AWARD - Hamdan bin Rashid Al-Maktoum for Outstanding Practice and Performance in Enhancing the Effectiveness of Teachers.

CDI Portugal is an Ação INCoDe.2030 with the following projects: Apps for Good (as a benchmark initiative for education) and the Valongo Digital Citizenship Center (as a benchmark initiative for inclusion).

Apps for Good Portugal was the winning project of the 6th edition of the AGIR Awards, from REN.

Apps for Good is considered to be one of the inspiring practices for the digital world of tomorrow.

CDI Portugal was one of the 10 final institutions of the 10th edition of the Manuel António da Mota Award and was distinguished with an honorable mention.

Apps for Good is in the Europe’s 100 Digital Champions ranking of Financial Times in the category “Technology Training – Educational initiatives that are helping bridge the ‘digital divide’, often by teaching skills to groups under-represented in the technology sector”.

CDI Portugal won the 2018 Navegante XXI Award in the category of “Best Digital Sustainability & Inclusion Project”. These awards are an initiative of ACEPI - Association of the Digital Economy - annually rewarding the best projects in the promotion and development of the Society of Knowledge and Digital Economy in Portugal.

CDI Portugal - Digital Inclusion Center's launch happened in the 7th meeting of Microsoft’s Social Partners, on the 30th of May of 2013.
